Packed up, labeled, and ready to go. Wasn't home in time to get these out for the mailman to take. They'll leave my place tomorrow.

It’s been one month since this thread was started and we’ve made some pretty decent progress ever since then. Granted, a large percentage of the funds raised were from the chips that made it here from the Netherlands as well as a large generous bid in one of the auctions made by @ImCrossland.

Wanted to see if we could somehow kickstart another round of auctions/sales to reach a new milestone in our fundraising.

Poppin, I know you're reading this and I understand you've landed yourself in a difficult position however, you've got to put forth a better effort to bring this to an end. I was able to sell off chips that were originally promised and was able to raise a decent amount of money. Now what? Shortly after doing so, I discover that more chips were held back that could have helped us get closer to our goal. I'm putting myself in your shoes right now and if I had $20,000 in debt chasing me as a direct result of my own sham sales, I'd be scrambling to find immediate solutions even if they came at $100 at a time. With the exception of future efforts to raise funds, at this point I've done almost all I can to help the community make a recovery from this. I'll continue to push for more fundraising auctions and sales but the reality is, the ball is in your court now.

As a direct result of Triston's generosity, refer to this link for info, we've now surpassed the $6,000 mark in the fundraiser. Words aren't enough to express gratitude for this generosity. Pretty sure we can do this and almost reaching the halfway mark will be yet another boost. Fundraiser thermometer updated accordingly.
 
Almost forgot one thing, a screenshot of the PayPal account with a date and time stamp. Just want to reassure any of the skeptics out there that the funds are actually in the account.

I've got a couple of racks of coin-in-center chips that have just been sitting on my shelf, and I don't have anything planned for them. I'm happy to contribute them to the cause. I'll try to get an auction up this weekend, and all proceeds can go to this.

Damn it, might have to try to sell my extra stuff instead...the chicken auctions are causing pain. Serious pain. Different pain than that caused by Poppin, but pain none-the-less. :(
 
Little update and follow-up note. I’ve received donations to the dedicated account from several people. First and foremost, big thanks to those that are helping out.

Secondly, I’m overseas with my family for my brother’s wedding. I may not be able to provide as many updates and prompt responses to PM’s, but rest assured I’ll reply whenever I’m able to login.

Just a reminder for those wondering which email is being used to accept payments/donations, it’s noted in the original post for this thread. I’m noting it below for added reference.

Had a bunch happen this week and wana send something for this man.
Found an awesome barrel of chips for a discount too.
Had a little something happen that I should have lost some $$ on from my own dyslexic mistake but it was returned so wana help out too since tihs can happen

Hey everybody. Haven’t been as active lately due to a family emergency, but I wanted to take a stab at re-igniting the thread in an effort to helping those that were taken for a ride.

Just wanted to remind everybody that we’re very near the halfway mark of the original $20k. Pretty sure we can make some good headway with another wave of auctions and sales.

If anybody has any suggestions or ideas for other fundraising methods, please chime in.
