Is it possible to identify these chips? It was because of them that I found this forum. Fifteen years ago, when I started playing poker live at a club here in Fortaleza, Brazil, these chips were used at the cash game tables. At that time, my bankroll was small, so I played freerolls and cheap tournaments where they used plastic (ABS) chips, which were also quite interesting.

But I remember when I reached a bankroll that allowed me to play at the cash table and use these chips. I remember how they were much lighter, had a very distinctive sound and texture. The club no longer exists and I don't know the whereabouts of these chips. Some time ago, while researching these characteristics to try to find out where they came from, I found this forum, because people were talking about Paulson chips in a way that was similar to how I imagined these chips felt - lighter, with a characteristic sound, texture, etc. Obviously, I don't believe they were Paulson chips, but I also can't correlate them with any other market model, especially considering they are from around 2007 to 2009.

Any vague ideas?

I used to own a set of the Nexgen 8000s, I think the chips above are the Nexgen 8002 series.
Are these on sale anywhere or what?
Not that I know of, but it's possible some places might have old stock still sitting around. And you might be able to find some folks here might have some of these chips.

There was a recent eBay sale with a lot of green and black chips above, that I remembered I had on my watchlist (no real interest in buying, but just curious to see what they sold for)
https://www.ebay.com/itm/145786178168 they ended up selling for around 9 cents a chip, including the shipping cost.

PCF member bought these. He wanted the black chips but not sure about the others.

These are Nexgen 8002 series
and yes thanks to @ekricket and @Stackme I just aquired substantial amount

These were cheap and popular but currently hard to get, especially if you looking for particular amount of colors (they do not have denominations and ready for lables)

Funny because these are quite heavy...13,5 g

Funny how the mind plays tricks on us! Indeed, 13.5g is not light for a chip, but I remember them being lighter than the ABS tournament chips I used to play with... photo below. I don't know if they can be identified. But I am almost certain that they are even heavier.
