Is it possible to identify these chips? It was because of them that I found this forum. Fifteen years ago, when I started playing poker live at a club here in Fortaleza, Brazil, these chips were used at the cash game tables. At that time, my bankroll was small, so I played freerolls and cheap tournaments where they used plastic (ABS) chips, which were also quite interesting.
But I remember when I reached a bankroll that allowed me to play at the cash table and use these chips. I remember how they were much lighter, had a very distinctive sound and texture. The club no longer exists and I don't know the whereabouts of these chips. Some time ago, while researching these characteristics to try to find out where they came from, I found this forum, because people were talking about Paulson chips in a way that was similar to how I imagined these chips felt - lighter, with a characteristic sound, texture, etc. Obviously, I don't believe they were Paulson chips, but I also can't correlate them with any other market model, especially considering they are from around 2007 to 2009.
Any vague ideas?
