Can anyone tell me whether there's another chip that looks identical to Paulson's Capitol City Casino $1 cash chip in arc yellow? I'm not referring to the T1 chip in mustard yellow, or the cash $1 light blue version, I'm referring to the one in the image below. I'm asking because I need 40 of this damned thing to match a custom hot stamped set of mine, but I'm having a real hard time finding it except as random singles. I'm a newbie, so I can't post an ad in the Classfieds yet, but I've PM'd all the vendors and I've had no luck, and I've been on eBay for years, so that's why I'm here searching for an alternative. Any thoughts? Thanks in advance, everyone.

I did a quick query and browse through the H&C mold yellow chips and didn't see any other with that spot pattern. Bummer...
Maybe you want to take a crack at it yourself - I'm sure it would jump out at you and I might have missed it.

Thanks, BSteck. Believe me, I spent a TON of time looking through the MOGH/ChipGuide before I brought this question to the forum. The search function on the Chip Guide is useless; if you search for "H&C" mold and "yellow" color, it doesn't even find the Capitol Casino chip itself (or the Casino De Mexico 1 chip, which is a popular yellow H&C mold), so you have to do overly broad searches on that tool -- like, all H&C molds -- which I've done, to no avail. But I thought I'd bring the question here because I may have overlooked something, since often the photos in the Chip Guide can be misleading. (Example: their photo of the Treasure Casino $5 would make you think it's a very faded red, almost a pink color, and yet in real life that chip's shade of red nearly matches the vibrant shade of the PCA $5 primary). So, I'm holding a candle of hope that human knowledge/wisdom prevails.

Have you looked through the Fakes & Fantasy list http://www.ccgtcc.com/xfantasy/fakes_body.html

That is where the Capitol City, Casino De Mexico's and all the Fantasy chips are listed, there is no search feature but you can hunt through them and see if there are any others with that spot pattern. Paulson tended to use the same spot patterns on multiple Fantasy sets.

I've never seen that Capitol City $1 chip listed for sale other than as singles, and it's pretty rare for even those to appear. As far as I know, there were no other chips produced with that identical Yellow base and P27 spot pattern, fantasy or otherwise. I'm guessing that amassing 40 of 'em would take a very long time.

side note: Arc Yellow is a very orange-ish color. The chip you're looking for is Yellow; other similar Paulson colors are Canary Yellow and Daisy. Mustard more closely resembles a tan shade.

Will do. Thanks.

Thanks so much for this! I’ve been unable for years to determine the difference between Paulson’s “yellow” versus “arc yellow” versus “canary yellow”... some of which actually appear to be “mustard” in some online photos of Paulson’s color chart. Good to know the official color of the unicorn I’m hunting. Helps find an alternative, whatever that may be.

I get the feeling I need to settle on some Casino De Mexico 1’s (which will be difficult enough to find in quantity), and give up this unicorn chase. Bummed to hear that there’s no similar chip out there, but vindicated to know I haven’t overlooked something.

Thanks again!
