Just be aware that we’re all chip and card snobs so if you don’t have a leaded set of THC’s, you can forget it

I have been a lurker, sadly, for probably 8 years here. Used it as a research site for chips. Decided to join just the other day, not sure why. lol. But, I am glad I have.
I have "met" a few folks from here already over the phone and invited them over and several are joining me tomorrow night, others in the future. And, that was without a formal post or thread.
I will say this, and I have been puttering around various message boards and forums for years: You guys are a really solid group of people, and it shows after less than a week of conversing. The moderator should be very proud of his creation and his community!

Its funny you say that. It has been one of my main concerns about having any of you's over to my house! lol. I most certainly do NOT have a set of THC's, nor will I ever. Unless I hit lotto (which I don't play). I have issued the "warning" that we would be playing with subpar chips until my Tina's arrive... and even then, we would be using chips that are apparently "moderately acceptable" lol
...I can envision people bringing chips to my tournament. lol. How pathetic is that? lol.
Well, that's how it all starts...
