Jack casino’s being sold! (9 Viewers)

I was super pumped at this news.

Until I saw the chips. I’m definitely keen to get my hands on some of the oversized $1k secondary and $5ks but other than that it’s a big fat meh from me.

I really like the primary $5 but can see dirty stack issues with the $1, or any chip using misty blue/white.

Much like the primary PCA $5 had with the primary $1

Well... Not really. Thes are all mint unplayed. Cleveland and Cincy Jack will be a mix of played and unplayed. Despite color/edgespot choices, these will command a premium over casino used Ohio Jack's.

What's the 4th casino.

I agree the mint primary 25c, $1, $5 will sell for more. But there are going to be sooooo many chips coming along eventually that the market will be pretty well flooded.

I believe Rock Gaming/ Dan Gilbert own a casino in MD. Not positive of that and MD laws regarding what they can do with the chips after the rebranding.

The proofs of the chips can sometimes look quite different from how the colors and chips look in real life. I'll bet some people will even revise their tastes after seeing photos of the actual chips.
 
A Detroit rack has never been sold... When MGM Detroit changed it's rack, those chips were not sold (AFAIK).

I don't know this for 100%, but I assume Michigan gaming laws require destruction.

I'm guessing this rack never left GPI. I wonder if Gilbert paid for it (if he did, maybe GPI agreed to auction it off and refund him some of his investment, rather than watch it be ground up... Again, assuming Michigan law requires it.)

I get your point, but I just can’t be too pumped about unleaded, faux shaped inlay RHC chips with pretty lame colour choices and odd spot progression (for the most part).

I am pumped about the oversized chips though.
