Congrats to all the successful winners. I didn't manage to get one but I'm glad that we had the opportunity to try for such a great price.

If anyone who was successful is looking for fracs I have JACK $2 tri-moons that you could relabel up for sale. I'll do a deal if someone takes both racks.

OMG, these chips are SO mint it’s incredible! I need some more to finish my set. Looking for 5’s and 1’s

My chips just arrived! Perfect timing as my bi-weekly poker game is in 2 hours :D

Using my hacianda fracs for now.

Jim, I have nothing but appreciation for your sales. Any chance that us old and slow scrubs might have a shot at something like a lottery for an opportunity to buy, rather than those that have script writing skillz or terabyte connections that can check out before I can even refresh the link?

Thanks again for all you do here,
T

I have none of those, I think I just got lucky. Even had to delete a chip from a previous sale before check out.

This really blows. What’s the point of all the discussion and anticipation?
Sold out in less than a minute. More like 15-20 seconds. WTH
If you’re going to sell them anyway, why not have just made bigger quantities available in this sale so most of us didn’t get completely shut out?
Can you let people know in advance the quantities which will be available? It makes it hard to plan other purchases/sales if the numbers are so small that almost no one can get in on the sale.

You of all people shouldn’t be complaining about how someone wants to run their own business.

You did see these chips have denominations, right?

But honestly, I do think it would be helpful on sales like this to have some sense of how big or small the quantities are.

If I’d known there was less than a 1% chance of getting any of the four T10,000 sets I’d have approached it differently (e.g. not bothering to sound out other PCFerscabout buying small quantities of some of these chips to round out a set).

That doesn’t diminish my appreciation that these chips were secured in the first place and made available here. It just would help to save time and set reasonable expectations.

Is there a downside to such disclosure? It’s not like they aren’t going to sell otherwise.

You got 2 barrels of 500p? Which set was this?

sorry, no - i acquired an extra barrel of $500s separately. it is the T2000 set.

i also already shipped off the $25 secondaries to trade for a larger amount of primaries. i am just using this as the base to build the 500 chip set i really want.

But the watermelons are so sexy!

call me crazy but i think the primaries make a better T25 base tourney set with the more subdued edge spots. Still probably good to have some tasty watermelons for a cash set tho

you don't have to pretend anymore, i already shipped your chips!

(but i do agree, hence the trade)

oh i definitely like them, but i am very particular about edge spot progression, and the $25 primaries work immeasurably better in that sense to me.

to my eyes, i am changing (in a broad sense) from:

fat spots -> fat spots -> fat spots -> medium spots

to:

fat spots -> thin spots -> fat spots -> medium spots
