I gotta tell you, when I saw 4 nines that won in my hand the next thing I thought of was Paul Newman showing 4 jacks and the look on Robert Shaw’s face, and also Flat nose Curry’s look of shock and dismay. Love that scene and the one after it when Shaw as Doyle Lonnegan says “ What was I supposed to do accuse him of cheating better than me in front of the others?”
