Title says it all. I’m new to this forum and would like to introduce myself. My name is RJ. I played poker as a hobby many years ago in a small casino on the US West Coast. Nothing crazy: $1/$1 no limit $40 max buy in. I moved to the east coast in 2010 and haven’t played until recently, when I started to play in the World Tavern Poker league(s). For those of you who are unfamiliar with WTP, it is a free national bar league played in bars/pubs around the US.
I have a full time job, but since I’ve returned to playing, the addiction has come back on strong! There are so many cool poker chips out there and I’m definitely going to be buying a few different sets. My budget is on the low end and I’ll pretty much be using them for my home tournaments.
From what I’ve seen on PCF so far, all of you have an insane amount of useful information and I look forward to learning from you all!
