Hey guys,

I have a set of Tina Ceramics that I noticed had a certain smell I've heard that China Clays have a smell but have never heard of ceramics having a smell. After airing them out on a towel all laid out the smell went away, however putting them back in the racks and in a Apache 3800 case the smell came back. For awhile I assumed it was the smell of the foam seeping into the chips, but after coming home today having a rack not fully covered I smelt the top side of the chips (not touching any part of the rack) and it smelt liken nothing, then smelt the side laying in the rack and found the smell. I was wondering if anyone else had experienced this and if there was any resolution.

Thanks
Vozy

I have over 2000 Tina ceramic hybrids and over 100 Justin racks and do not notice any smell. My wife is very very sensitive to smells of any kind and says everything has a smell but when I asked her she said it was very very faint. But she says my Paulsons and CPC sets smell more.

This.

Imagine if Tina designed her racks with a special chemical mixture that slowly deteriorates all other chips except her own and thats the smell you're getting.

WTF, first it's China Clays, then it's Copag cards, and now it's Justin racks! Have we all perceptively gone insane? What's next, T_Chan felts and Gasser chairs?
Could be.
Those on the spectrum (chipper tendency?) seem to be more sensitive to sound and other annoyances.
PCFers are now smelling their chairs and tables to check. You evil genius.
