I'm new to collecting poker chips but do come across some neat sets from time to time. This is one I recently picked up. Under magnification, the chips appear to have a seam as two separate pieces were pressed together. Or is my eyesight getting that bad? Chips appear to be clay. Nearly 500 in this pictured set. Any info and insight appreciated.

Looks like they are from Tempe, AZ.

Definitely clay, and just one piece of clay that has been stamped, but sometimes older chips can become a bit deformed.

Cool set! Welcome to the forum.
