Is there enough for one more set? I'd love a set.
Actually upon further review, I have one last available set. I forgot I set aside @softchewy 's unoiled set separately so when I counted, I made one too many. Anyway, it's yours if you would like it. I'll get it in the mail tomorrow am. Just send along a PM with your address after. And thank you

@72o, samples showed up today

VERY nice Alan. thanks again.!

Wow Thanks so much for the kind words, Tom. I really appreciate the praise man. I'm glad you like them.

Got mine! Thank you. Beautiful set. So very well done.

What is the packing material you used? Masonite?

Thank you, Michael!

Yup masonite...good call. I love the stuff and always have some handy. You never know when you may need shims or filler material for projects so an 1/8" hardboard material is extremely usefull to have.
It was funny actually a couple of days ago. My wife thought I was crazy when I told her I had to package up some sample sets and she heard power tools downstairs. :ROFLMAO: I buy a full sheet (4'x8') of the hardbord and just ripped them into strips as needed. Then make a little hardboard sandwich (definitely a sandwich in this case btw @jbutler and a hot dog in a bun is just a hot dog in a bun)

I received my sample set as well today. Great packing job as mentioned. I was thinking you packed them so well as to drive us nuts with anticipation trying to get through it all! :p

The chip are amazing! Pics of them are one thing, actually holding them in your hand to enjoy them is even better.

These have sealed the deal for me, no new set until I have a fully custom set of my own.

Thanks again for making these available, I think! Going to need a few big nights to jump start the custom chip fund. :D

Thank you, Adam, for the awesome words. Means a lot to me man.

And yes, everyone needs their own set of customs for sure. (y) The unfortunate part now is I don't have any Paulsons left after selling them all to fund this project.

Package arrived yesterday (unknown contents from an unknown sender, as far as i could tell at the time), so sat down after dinner to open it up ( i get a lot of packages sent to work - some chips, some not, but almost daily shipments and often more than one).

First words after opening the outer mailer bag were "holy crap - this thing is wrapped in WOOD!"

Well, that got Karen's attention - she is well aware of my overkill tendencies regarding protective shipping packages, and my disdain for those that fail to adhere to standards and practices that adequately provide protection. "Is it chips? Who is it from?"

"I dunno - i haven't got that far yet. Looks to be thin enough to be chips, but this outer layer is frickin' hardboard!"

After finally getting to the contents, i was still marvelling over the two perfectly cut slabs of protective material. "This is incredibly nuts, it was even cut to size for the package."

At which time Karen picked up the stack of chips i had momentarily set aside and remarked, "These are really nice.... I mean REALLY nice, every one is really cool. The artwork, the colors, the spots - the are really professional and well-done. Who makes Knollwoods chips?"

This from a person who appreciates fine chips, understands our passion surrounding them (although not sharing it), and has seen literally tens of thousands of nice chips pass through these doors, but has never even ONCE commented on how 'cool' or professional ANY of them were.

And after taking a look myself....... turns out she was absolutely right.

Congrats sir, you have earned the elusive @PokerChipWidow poker chip Seal of Approval. (y):D

Nicely done on all fronts, including getting them to me safely. :)

Wow, Dave! I'm not really sure how to respond to that. I am flattered by everything you wrote and thank you for taking the time to write such a cool post. It's weird to say that something another man wrote to me made me feel all warm and fuzzy inside, but it did. :) Really, really grateful for your thoughts. THANK YOU, SIR.

And thank you @PokerChipWidow for the compliments as well! We are gratefull you allow Dave to come out and play so often on PCF.

Holy Sht!! Alan these are so nice! The inlay is perfect imo the colors are awesome everything about them is just very cool. Congratulations on a great set of chips.

Let me know if you have a spare 50-100 sample sets.

Lol. Thank you Pat. Awesome of you to say. I appreciate it. Maybe we can swap cash sets in the future for some time. (y)

I got mine today and echo the sentiments above. The chips are awesome. I was really impressed by the colors and love that inlay, simple yet sophisticated. I think it's great and will probably lean towards something like that when I finally pull the trigger on CPC customs. Once I settle on an idea I will have to sell my Paulson Pharaoh's to help fund as well, but will be worth it. Well done sir and thx for getting a sample on the tail end of your order. I really appreciate it.

Yeah, I have to chime in too. Especially since you responded to my very first post which kind of dismissed CPC chips altogether :p

I received mine today as well. If I had these in hand the day I joined PCF, I would not have questioned the awesomeness of a custom CPC set!

Thanks so much for everything that went into this Alan! I really appreciate it :)

glad I could "help".. indirectly.. without even knowing it ;)

As others have said, excellent set. (y) $100 is my favorite.
