Not Mine Large 5000 Chip Cases (1 Viewer)

110 lbs, plus rack weight, plus wood weight, handles roughly 34 inches apart.

You better get Jon Cena to help lift it.

I think you'll need pallbearers to carry your chips around for you.

no, not this guy...

Don't think it will fit in the overhead bin....

It *is* the overhead bin!
Need to carry/transport 5000 chips at a time (meetup maybe), these may be for you.

I don't think I'd use these for transport, but they may be a viable option for basic chip storage. I think I'd still probably prefer steel shelving - I think long term it might be more durable and just as cost-effective (if not more), and is probably more re-sellable than the wood containers if I ever needed to part with them - but this is nonetheless an interesting option.

I would imagine that cases like these would be useful for someone like Dennis, Chiproom & TheChipVault as storage options. I just couldn't justify one because of size/weight restrictions.

I am going to guess that those are NOT made for that purpose, but have been repurposed. To me, looking at these and the stuff in the background, looks like some sort of media storage or something you would find in a library. No way I am transporting chips in those. Maybe storing them if I did not already have storage.

Nothing bigger than a packed LFRB for me to carry. I learned that this summer. Each carries 15 racks and that is enough.

I think we are on the wrong track.

Someone built these - ten of them - specifically to hold poker chips. 50,000 poker chips.

So, where are the chips? The storage units aren't that interesting to me, but their previous contents are.

DrStrange

The craftsmanship is sub-par, and the interior contents for demonstration purposes are relabeled Milanos. I'm guessing that 50,000 racks of awesome never existed, but would not be surprised to find out that it belonged to a chipper here.

Because these may actually belong to a chipper, I will not say anything mean.

  • For sale: 10 chip coffins
  • I couldn't sell my bookshelves as a set, so I'm willing to split
  • 1st candidate for the fugly storage thread
  • Finally, a card catalog at 100x normal size!
