Thanks, I got the Blue chips elsewhere and mix them with the set.I really like the look of the Imperia set! Did the blue chips come with your purchase?
They are ceramic stock.
Generally, Casino-grade plastic have pretty high QC and not slippery. (Esp the heavier weighted plastic)How slippery are your plastic sets compared to each other and to clay chips?
I used to own casino used clay and some of them can be more slippery than plastic at times.
(The Imperia set is actually more slippery compared to my other 3 sets, BG being the least Gemaco Second and BJ third)
You might want to get samples as it seems like not everyone has the same tastes when it came to plastic.
There are also different product lines even for the same manufactory, example Gemaco haver 2 lines (1 being the Tropicana Evan with the sharp edges and my Opus line is one with a slight round edge)
If slipperiness is your main concern, Clay and Casino-grade plastic are generally a non-concern. Unlike Tina Ceramic where they will wear and become slippery over times.
One plastic that is known to be overly slippery that came to my mind is the Matsui Emerald Bay.
