Lightning Strikes (3 Viewers)

I don't know if you'll ever see a four-peat in hockey again. Ever. Even three would be amazing.

Which is tied with the Canadiens four-peat from 1976-1979 and behind the Canadiens five-peat from 1956-1960

But while we are derailing @k9dr's thread, the 1956-1960 Canadiens won 10 straight post-season series en route to five Cups, losing in the opening round in 1961. The 1976-1980 Canadiens won 17 straight postseason series; after four Cups, they lost in the second round in 1980. The 1980-1984 Islanders won 19 straight series. They won 4 Cups before being beaten by the Edmonton Gretzkys in the Finals in 1980.

The Islanders have a better case for being the all-time best hockey dynasty.

Yada yada yada ...... ancient history :yawn:

Yep, history is on your side and Toronto's history of not getting out of the 1st round is strong. Still, I don't like seeing Tampa get manhandled by a bunch of fairies. Clifford could use a butt end in the ribs for that check from behind. It will be twice as sweet if Toronto gets busted in 7... again :LOL: :laugh:
:LOL: :laugh::LOL: :laugh::ROFL: :ROFLMAO:

Solid response from the Lightning last night - Vasilevskiy goes to 15-0 following a loss in the playoffs :) Series tied 1-1 heading back to Tampa Friday night

My kid was 10 years old before he saw his first Leaf playoff game. He is 18 now and he has yet to see them even win a playoff round. The franchise is a total embarrassment. The dice chips of the chipping world.
I'm throwing stones but my team has been the embarrassment of the league for over a decade. I have to hate Toronto though, being up the QEW just up the road. I just love to see that city melt down when the Leafs blow it, it's so fun ;)

They say that only in Toronto do the Leafs fall in the spring.

Did you know teeoff times are hard to find in the spring because the courses are covered with Leafs.

One of the finest moments in Sabres history after beating the Leafs haha

That's a great story, but WTF? Who can afford to attend two MLB games in a row?
The giver and givee were invited back the next day and got on the field to meet Judge. The Jays gave the guy a signed Springer jersey and Judge gave the kid the batting gloves he hit the homer with. Next time the Jays are @Yankees they both get 10 tickets in the Judges Chambers.
