I am in the process of making my setup for home tournaments, and I have the available space in the basement to accommodate four tables. However, the lighting is subpar. I am looking for suggestions on how to make my poker room a bit more enjoyable with some lights. I will have LEDs in my tables' rails to help see cards.

Prerequisites:
  • Lights cannot be permanent
  • Must be LED
  • Cannot be too bright (or able to use a dimmer)
  • Need 100ft of lighting
  • Cannot be easily breakable (safety)
  • $150 budget
My initial thinking is string lights that I would just hang along the exposed ceiling, but I'm wondering if there are other suggestions to help give some functional ambiance.

Budget might be the most limit here.

Couple of floor lamps from Facebook marketplace with some smart lights?
I can find 100ft LED string lights well under this budget no prob. Just wondering if there's another option I am not considering. I'd like to avoid floor lamps if I can.

Not sure how many you will need, but bought these for a shed and they worked much better than expected. Believe they would work great for what you are looking for.

Probably require mounting to celling

Not sure if it clashes with the non permanent part.

My ceiling is all exposed, so like Stark said I'll have to see how I would be able to mount these. I'd also need to see if they work with a dimmer because I want it to be adjustable. These seem really great, though - mounting these just might pose a challenge!

Thanks for the suggestion!
