I'm learning that "pink" comes in many forms that are difficult to discern in photographs.
This info regarding the names of the pink and “pink adjacent” Paulson colors might help you in your search.

Here are the Paulson color names of the chips in your photo - I’m certain on 4 of them because I own or owned them, and reasonably sure on the other two:

Here are some Paulson color samples, five of which are arranged to match the arrangement of chips in your photo:

Here are the same color samples arranged by hue and lightness:

Also, here are links to some auctions of mine from a couple years ago with photos of pink and pink adjacent fracs:

This is incredibly helpful. Thank you! Lavender also appears very similar in photos.

You’re very welcome.

Hmm… I would never call Paulson Lavender “pink adjacent,” but that’s a judgement call. I’ll try to remember to take some photos later.

Maybe this one isn't lavender?

I initially thought this one was pink until I looked it up.

I don’t think I have one of the Carousel 25¢ chips in your photo, but based solely on your photo, it sure looks like Paulson Pink. HOWEVER, here’s a photo courtesy of ChipGuide, and it looks quite different, like Paulson Purple:

BTW, that’s why it *really* helps to put something else with known colors in your photos, so there’s something for comparison.

Where did you “look it up” that says that chip is Paulson Lavender? ChipGuide rarely has the actual Paulson colors of chips, and if there’s another good resource for chip colors, I’d love to know.

Anyway, here’s a photo of the pink family chips, plus some of the purple family, including Paulson Lavender and Purple:

Well, when I said that I didn’t think I had one of the Carousel 25¢ chips, I was thinking through all my Paulson Pink fracs.

When I looked through my racks of Las Vegas singles, I found one.

It is *not* Paulson Lavender. It’s actually not ANY Paulson color, because it’s not a Paulson chip. It’s a mid-1960s Christy & Jones chip. That said, here’s a photo of my chip with some of the closest Paulson colors:

I have used ChipGuide, but found it to be more of an inspiration than a reference. Not sure where I saw the Carousel described as lavender; it clearly does not match in your photos. My approach was to find something that at first appeared pink, then cross reference as best I could with google. I admit, a flawed system. My mistakes have led to a few interesting near pink discoveries.

Thank you to all who helped in my quest for pinkies. In the end, I completed 3 full racks in good condition and acquired 14 unique variations along the way.

I am now putting this one to rest.
