Mortalpawn
Two Pair
These were delivered from an earlier buy, but I thought a few pictures of some of rjdev7's available designs might be good:
So I'm a noob to PCF but not to the game. Question regarding your toppers, and I apologize if this is already answered: How do I know which size to order? Is it supposed to fit as much of the table as possible? How do they attach/stay secure to the table? I'm sure I have other questions, but I think that's a good start. And if there is anything else you can suggest or enlighten me with, it would be appreciated!!I'm excited to announce a partnership with a new vendor who will be able to supply made-to-order table toppers to the US and Europe.
All existing stock designs and sizes (including those compatible with the Barrington / ESPN oval tables) that have been previously offered are available, and will arrive within a time period of approximately three weeks from the time of purchase.
New, custom designs and dimensions are possible as well, up to a max length of 96”and max width of 48”, however they will likely take longer than three weeks to arrive, depending on what is requested. This is especially true for entirely new artwork.
A few considerations:
To place an order, please PM me with the identifier # from the above spreadsheet. I will handle the artwork, process the order, and have it shipped directly to you.
- Thickness: The thickness of these toppers is 2mm. There are some pros and cons with this.
Pro: Both samples I have seem to lie flatter with less wrinkles (see pics below). I don't know if it's bc these aren't shipped for several weeks in tight shipping container boxes from China or if it's just the increased flexibility from thinner material. For those of you using these inside existing tables (e.g. Barrington, ESPN, etc.) you won't notice a difference in padding once these are installed.
Con: As standalone table toppers on dining tables, etc. you'll likely notice a slight difference in padding since they're half the thickness of the bulk China toppers.
Solution: buy two and put one under the other (half kidding )- Quality: I am confident that the print quality and quality control (e.g. dimension accuracy) are better than the vendor I was using in China for the bulk orders. The colors are very vibrant, with little bleed, and the dimensions for the samples I ordered were precise.
- Sewn Edges: It's possible to have sewn edges for a small added fee. Take this for what it's worth, but if you're using these toppers to fit within an existing table like a Barrington, an ESPN table, or some other existing table, I would recommend NOT doing edge stitching. Why? The look is much cleaner than having the edges showing around the inside of the rails on the table
- Price is going to be on par with the bulk China vendor for a few reasons, but mostly because the made-to-order vendor is more expensive when you factor in the cost to produce and ship individual orders in less than a month.
Un-sewn Edges: $125 shipped
Sewn Edges: $130 shipped
Custom Art: I will not be charging for custom artwork unless it's very specific and bespoke, such that it likely wouldn't be desired by others (e.g. personal toppers like "Dan's card room"). In these very specific cases, custom designs will come at a $10 premium.
Here is a blank template in Adobe Illustrator if anyone would like to design your own art and send to me.
Here are the samples I had shipped from the new vendor:

If you have questions, feel free to respond here so my answers are seen by all. Thank you!
p.s. I improved some existing stock designs to comply with the recommendations of the new vendor (e.g. solid backgrounds are not good bc they lead to inconsistent print results). I think you all will like them! Here are a few showing the new backgrounds:

Here’s a video showing how well cards slide on the toppers:
Just got my two in yesterday, they are awesome!! These are legit and probably not my last that I get....if you are on the fence, I would say, DO IT!! Can't believe how great the craps layout is! 5 stars for sure and recommend!!

Was already thinking about that lolWho's gonna be the one to do a roultte layout like the craps layout?
If you're using this in existing table, the idea is to order the topper so that it fits as close to the inside of the rails as possible, giving it a "felted" look. The backs of the topper is a very grippy rubber which keeps it from sliding around and stays firmly in place. I built a custom table so that my rails are slightly raised, allowing me to tuck my toppers underneath the rail. Not everyone has that option, though, so most order dimensions that fit snugly up to the inside of the rail. Let me know if this doesn't make sense. So I'm a noob to PCF but not to the game. If you have removable rails, I'd suggest getting the topper to fit 1" under the rails so that once the rails are in place it looks fully felted and you won't see the edges of the topper. This would look very clean.Does the topper nudge right up against the rail or go under it? I built my table and it has a removable rail so I’m wondering if my measurements should be up to the rail or to the edge of the actual table?
These do look great! Couple questions. Shipping to Europe is no additional fee? Is max width 42 or 48 inches? I see 48 inches in the original post but 42 later in the thread.
Max length is 96”
Max width is 48”
That being said, if we get within one inch of either of these limits, I would want to do a test print first and if it’s good enough, ship it on out to you. If we have a brave soul to try this out for the first time, I’ll offer to split the cost with you 50/50 so you can have it for half off if it looks good.
Sorry, I realize now that I gave you incorrect information. The max is 48", NOT 42".Would this mean that the largest round topper would be 42" diameter?
Sorry I must have been smoking crack on the day I said 42". The max length is 96" and the max width is 48" (4 feet)
I will update the OP with this info. Apologies for any confusion.
Regarding shipping to Europe, there's no additional charge. If for whatever reason a remote location costs more, I will handle that with the buyer on a case by case basis.

I’d definitely be in on a good roulette layout. Was already thinking about that lol

Look at us, working together yet not lol, #aloneaparttogether LOL I dig your geometric center!View attachment 1036099View attachment 1036100
They actually work quite well together if you had a two table setup.
Isn't your table all square ish lol I appreciate the vote of confidenceThe Mirage is synonymous in my family with my late grandparents. I ordered a set of the cards mold tributes and now I need that Desert Heat
Mirage Desert Heat file is now in the hands of @rjdev7If we go a rectangle, I’d like to add a little bit on the H x W to tuck under.
