Actually, that brings up a question...

I love my tabletop and it's getting action! Are there any suggestions/recommendations on cleaning the tabletop?

Thanks in advance!

I've tossed a smaller one in the washing machine and let air/hang dry after (do not put neoprene in a dryer). Came out looking like new.

So I was lazy and only looked at the first 20 pages in this thread. Received my topper from @rjdev7 and it’s absolutely epic. Could not have asked for a better product.

My only issue is I’m laying it overtop of my existing felt and holding it down with my removable rail. Still no issue. The only problem is when riffling chips, shuffling cards, etc it seems the topper bubbles up frequently. Is there something I could put above the felt and under the topper to prevent it from bubbling as much?

I’m wondering if shelf liners would help but I’m also worried how that would impact the quality. Has anyone tried this?

I've got mine just laying on top of old speed cloth, held down by my removable rail as well and don't have this issue.

I mean, if I TRY to pinch it I can, but it doesn't do it during regular play. Played 2 sessions on the new topper so far.

Does @rjdev7 have a location, I can find an album of all the toppers he's made? Obviously I could scroll through 106 pages here but 80% is text not pictures. Like a one stop shop, ha ha Thank you

What are the exact dimensions of the newer barrington (with the nicer padding)? When I measure (tough to be certain) I’m getting 73 3/4” x 32”. What is standard and does it need to be that precise? I’m paranoid about the fit. Thanks

With so many Barrington models (Walmart, Costco, LED vs. not) and inconsistencies in manufacturing quality from table to table, playing surface dimensions can vary by up to 1" (from standard 74" x 32") in either direction. As a result it's a best practice to measure your specific table's playing surface (inside rail to inside rail, length x width) to ensure the best fit. 73.75 x 32 is definitely in the right ballpark.

I just ordered this tape on Amazon. Will let you know how it works out.

Hey @bzambo ... I got this tape installed and right off the bat my two top comments are:

1. It holds the topper in place and reduces "bubbling" when shuffling chips, etc.
2. It can damage the topper, and I do NOT recommend it.

So, yes, the tape works and holds the topper a little more flat on an existing table/felt. I applied 2" tape down the middle of my table, with eight or nine 1" pieces around the topper's edge (under my rail).

After installing it I was able to feel the 2" tape through the topper. This bothered me, so I decided to remove the 2" piece. This is where I ran into trouble... the tape pulled off the felt easily, but when I tried to remove it from the topper, it also pulled off chunks of the rubber backer. Everything is fine, and there's no noticable issue on the playing side, but I would not recommend using this stuff, as the adhesive is just too strong and will become a permanent part of your topper.
