Majestics Pron! (3 Viewers)

Heading to a friends house in a bit for a game. Well be putting the chips out about 15 minutes before game time!!! I'll post some pics of his. I should be getting my blanks tomorrow.

I must say, the orange chips are way nicer in person! Green and impressive too.

Got mine in today! Have a look see!

I'm in the same boat. I've called USPS three times now trying to get them moving.

FWIW, I had a similar delay last week waiting for my Tropicana chips. They just seemed to disappear off the USPS radar for 7 days without explanation. When I finally did receive them, the bar code on the label was damaged, which I have a feeling contributed both to the lack of scanning and the delay itself. Fingers crossed that everything gets back on track.

Anybody else catch this review video? I'm guessing John has been to PCF a time or two, given how quickly these were reviewed:

His chip reviews are pretty interesting although I'm shocked to hear that he seems to like the Milanos more than the Majestics.

Thanks for posting the video. Would have liked to see a comparison of a factory dusty chip, a cleaned chip, and an oiled chip.

Watched the above review. He seems spot on in his observations. Where I would disagree would be that Milanos are more desirable. I got my sample set of Majestics today and they are typical china clays but the mold is far superior to the Milano chips, IMO. I do agree about spot progressions of some sort. How did we let that slip by when Josh was developing these?

That is probably what has happened, alright. Still no sign of them though.

I believe Josh said that would take extra molds and drive up the cost...

While it's true that it would require extra molds, I'm fairly certain that the Pharaohs are the only CC's so far that have an edge spot progression and they've been offered at a very similar price point to these.

I played with them for a second time last night and really don't have any complaints about them. Especially at. 34/chip....

Until now I really never knew the difference between a square edge and I rounded edge... But I would prefer a square edge just based on looks and nothing else.

The edge spot progression that others were talking about seems like it should be left for a more custom job?

Anyway, all the guys like the chips in the game as well. (helps thay it's a marshmallow soft game for me) lol

Matt

P. S. No you cannot have an invite!

I like the non standard domination a lot. Going to use the brown as $5 chips.
