I have a buddy in Vegas right now and he posted this chip on his Facebook page. Looks like a Metallic Gold solid RHC chip with a crappy inlay. It's still cool that they make these. I guess he won a tournament at MB. Said it paid $1100 so probably was small.

I have one as well, from 2009.

Oversize, FTW

Mine was from a 3 (maybe 4) table $50 tournament. I guess that's what the 20% rake (as much as 33% today) pays for.

That's a 48mm FHC chip. (Fat Hat & Cane). Definitely metallic gold. Tell him don't touch it and it will stay looking that good.

Mbay has a $40 and $50 buy in tourney that gets two tables at best. Changes are he added a 0 to the payout

The plot thickens:eek:

Mbay's biggest regular game is currently $65. Even so, it would probably take 6 or 7 tables to reach a $1100 payout (I don't have the exact pay structure handy).

This is AVN (Adult Video) weekend, one of Vegas' busiest weekends. In theory, this is possible (Mbay holds 10 tables).

I had to do the math, because when I won my chip, I won $475 - a far cry from $1100

Who gives a shit. I saw the chip on the page, someone else asked "How much did you win?" reply said 1100...I never talked to him about it. Note to self - get one of these guys to do my taxes. :).

We're chip nerds. Love the chips, but also have the ability to analyze all available information. I'm pretty sure that collectively we could work for NASA, provided they wanted to put a payload of chips on the ISS.

I give props to MBay - actually winning something (aside from cash) is pretty cool for a tourist. I imagine if you're a local, you could build up a couple racks of these and they would lose their luster.

10 tables with 2 reserved for cash game. Big weekend means more tables reserved for cash game. No way Kay ever locks up all tables for a $65 tourney. Friends a liar bottom line but really who cares, it's a fun chip and he wasn't asking for the CSI investigation.

Limit poker in zero gravity, anyone?
