I just wanted to post some recent flyers for our previous tournaments and our upcoming Untamed tournament. I always enjoy making over the top flyers to pass out with our event info on them. Lately they have been getting a bit goofy. But I kind of like em that way!

I use Adobe Express for alot of the flyers that I make. I also use Adobe Firefly to create some of the graphics for the flyers occasionally.

It has been awhile since I have posted any updates on our league events, and I would like to get caught up on our tournament and league news. Since our last update we have had a cash game night and a couple of tournaments.

The cash game turned out great! We were 9 handed at the start of the evening. We used to play .05/.10 blinds but have recently updated the blinds to .25/.25. I think the new blind levels work out much better for everyone. It seems like people play just a bit more serious than the old lower blinds. Our buy-in amounts are usually $25 tp $50 now instead of the old $10 to $20. Here are a few pics of our cash game night.

Of course we have to end the night with some kind of double board bomb pot to reck everyone on the last hand. Luckily I came out just a bit ahead on this one! In for $50 out for $140ish if I recall.

August has always been a big tournament for us. It is our Untamed Tournament. Also named after @TravNasty's fantasy football league that alot of our members are also in. We always would have our draft in the afternoon and then have a poker tournament in the evening every year. The Untamed Tournament is one of our three bracelet tournaments as well.

Everyone wants to get a bracelet on their wrist!

A couple weekends ago we got to break in @Bfow080's new place with our 2nd annual BryBry FowFow Classic Tournament. It was an awesome night with a really fun tournament and a great cash game that ran late into the night! Here was the flyer for this tournament.

We had 19 players in attendance last Saturday evening. Including PCF members @YeaIKno and @TravNasty. Here are a few pics of the festivities.

I'm not sure why but this was such a fun first table I was at this evening. Everyone was just having a blast and giving each other sh#t the whole time. Good times!!!

Most of us from our fun table survived when our table finally broke and we combined down to two tables.

Things have been going well so far. Made it to the final table with a decent stack. Just need to play smart now and I might have a chance to cash.

In the end I made it into the money. Got lucky and knocked @TravNasty out in 4th place. Had a nice stack after that but donked it off and went out in 3rd. @YeaIKno Grabbed 2nd place and league member Brad ended up winning this one!

A few of us jumped into the cash game that was going on and we played pretty late.

This last pic was from the last hand of the night that just turned into pure craziness! I'm not sure if there is already a name for this game but we call it 5 card No-maha with a double board bomb pot. It is like 5 card Omaha but you can use any number of cards from your hand or the board to make your best five card hand.

This turned into a 4 way all in by the end of the hand. Nothing like trying to play smart poker all night just to gamble it all away on the last hand of the night! Lol.

Anyways, it was a fun evening and we are really looking forward to our next tournament where we are trying something new for the league. A heads-up tournament!

I posted a lot of info in the home game thread recently about our previous Heads Up Tournament. It was a fun evening and I think most of our players enjoyed it. We got some good feedback and will make some improvements to next year's event. Here are some pics from the evening.

Only 3 of us dressed up for our costume contest so we just gave each of us a prize. Here is myself, followed by @TravNasty, and our league member Jayde.

It was a fun night! The cash game after the tournament was big and lots of fun as well! The single elimination aspect of the tournament may be changed for next year's tournament. It did help the cash game to get bigger though. I was eliminated in the first round but did well in the late night cash game.

I'm glad we were able to run a heads-up tournament and that we received lots of positive feedback from our members. I'm also looking forward to making to at least the second round next year! Lol.
