My gosh. These kick so much ass!

I recently sold my set with 2 racks of fracs...or I would be VERY tempted to do this. The $5, being the worst chip in the lineup, should be the one in the breakroom. MIcro stakes is actually perfect for the ES set.
I actually replaced the $5s with the AS brown $2 chip. It's never hit the table, but I really disliked the ES $5. Those Red ES $5s now sit on a back shelf, waiting for another purpose in life.

The ES $5 is an interesting and polarizing chip -- some people really like it, and others really dislike it. Personally, I think it works well in the set, but certainly isn't a superstar design.

I recently bought a small ES cash set and at first, disliked the ES $5. I must admit, when they are lined up with the rest of the family though, they look okay. On their own, they are boring. Just my experience. They sure don't stand out like the $25s or fracs.

That $5 is one of the worst blunders in the history of chips IMO. Having said that, the TC $5 might be the second worst blunder and it's one of my favorite sets.
To keep things positive I will say that the ES 25¢ is a triumph of chip design.

Blunder, yes.

One of the worst in the history of chips though? There have been a remarkable number of blunders over the years, including the invention of the dice chip, the SLS inlay, and sets with dirty stack issues.

The ES $5 is Bottom 25%, but the spots are small enough to cover with a Sharpie, so it is salvageable.

I would have to disagree. In the set it is ok, but kind of lacking compared to the rest of the chips. On its own, the ES $5 is alright. I think that it would be a cool option as a 25¢ in a Cali set.

Lol, like I said, polarizing -- thanks for backing up my point. Even though I can quickly come up with a long list of pretty horrid chip blunders that make the ES $5 look rather angelic in comparison. :D

So what is a TC $5? The brain's apparently not firing on all cylinders today, 'cuz I can't put a name to it...

I've been saying this since I saw it. Perfect frac.
