Milano Nickels - interest? (1 Viewer)

The Milanos (and Pharaohs) definitely benefit from oiling. However, they can lose a little of their vibrance over time.

Oil definitely helps. And Yes. This, they fade! But especially the pink 5k chips. I've had them for a traveling tourney set, and these tend to fade. They look pale white-pink-ish now. Would not be my first chips. The blue would look sharp.

I may be interested if the nickel was the pink...blue doesn't work for me.
See above.

And to those still interested, I was going to echo the idea of just getting blanks and labeling. :) Easy peasy!

105 are en route to @mummel for field testing and quality assurance. :)

I echo this sentiment. I almost pulled the trigger on a cash set of Milanos so many times but I couldn't get past the brown quarter.

I worry about durability and grime - the small denomination is going to get a lot of use, from constant antes to shuffling of low denomination chips and I dont have much luck getting the people I play with to wash their hands or not eat while playing. So id prefer something like the purple or the darker blue - the pink would always be dirty and dingy. If I do something custom it's going to be purple probably. No $500 in the cash games I play in at home.

I bought all of these from Mike the Man and theyre great. Work perfectly for $10 buy ins with 5c/10c games. I used them when my family visited over the holidays.

You should contact Gear. He probably still has the design on file.

Thanks. I'm waiting on their response. I'm hoping they still have the design.
