I just want to let the forum know that I had an agreement to purchase said yellow cut card with this user and after accepting my offer the seller backed out and started this auction (obviously trying to flip for more money). What has this community become? I'm calling for a forum wide ban to be imposed on the seller.

I actually just looked into this and @RocAFella1 showed me his AARP card and a driver's license that showed he is also short and a female. So basically, you were trying to fleece a little old lady. How do you actually sleep at night?

I thought I was being coy here, but by the rules, $1 is the starting bid. The question is can the starting bid be more? Based on lots of precedent, I think the anser is yes. Therefore, the starting bid was $3.50. So the next valid bid had to be $103.50 or more. I'll leave it up to the mods to determine if the $500 bid is valid.

I think you should PM @RocAFella1 and see if you can negotiate a lower price. See if he takes Paypal or Venmo and then maybe he'll let you off the hook for $200.

In all seriousness this is why jokes like this should not be posted on the actual Marketplace. You taking it as Joke post a bid as a Joke and then people talking about being careful there is a chance you get a Legitimate Ban for posting a Joke Bid. If this were posted somewhere else it would be ok.
