Not Mine More Binions WSOP Paulson chips (3 Viewers)

So my order arrived today, but there was a mixup that I got an extra rack of 25's and 1 less rack of 100's than I had asked for. If anyone gets theirs in and has a similar issue please let me know.

Hope he gets that fixed!

Thats a pretty big mix up since the 100s are all sold out now. I hope it gets made right!

Still have some packages on the way. Here's what I have on hand now including the chips previously in my album:

I won't lie, if I had to choose between a Tourney set of Binion's T5-T1000 or my BTP Tourney chips, it would be a hard call... I've dreamed of owning a playable set of Binion's WSOP Paulsons. It sure would have been amazing to have had a chance to get in on these. Oh well, maybe someone out there will reach out to me with a full set... :whistling:

This haul won't be bettered in 2020 if you ask me! Stacks and stacks of pure poker history right there; imagine all of the game's greatest players that have handled these chipes.

BTP's are beautiful! The Binions though..... So much History on top of the sheer gorgeous look of those chips! I think the decision is pretty easy!

BTP..... yah dont get me started
IMO, those were, yah never mind
overhyped and how again.... yah never mind
Id rather have ANY vegas set than BTP
Id rather have Dunes from the dig than BTP

WSOP’s over BTP’s any day IMO.

I have a soft spot for the Circus and so the BTP design really spoke to me when they came out - the design is fun, bright, and the edge spots just happen to be Bear Claws, which are my favourite. For me personally, just a great chipset, though to each their own.

That said, the opportunity to play with a set of chips with so much history behind them would be just fantastic. It would normally be hard to justify owning mulitple tourney sets considering how rarely I host them, but for Binion's I'd make the exception in a heartbeat. It would be a snap buy.

In the end, two completely different chipsets, each with their own strengths.

Soooo... who's got 'em?? I'll take 120x T5, 120xT25 and 100x T100 please and thanks. :whistling:

Certainly no knock on the BTP’s, they are beautiful chips. And if I had an opportunity to own a set (and if I could afford it) I would grab them in a heartbeat. But something about those WSOP’s just screams grail set. The history alone would make me choose them if I had a chance of owning either set.

It seems like T1000 sets are possible but the 500, 1k and 5k chips are just soooo expensive!
T5 based sets would be kinda cool though...

What could make good relable candidates for 500’s- 1Ks -5ks?:

I think these might work pretty well with the Binion's T5, T25 and T100...

I mean, they were all in play together at the WSOP for several years...

Would be baller until some extra 25 and 100s showed up whenever everyone went to cash out. It would have to be game where you knew everyone very well.

Absolutely. This goes for any non-custom cash set though. And considering the relative rarity of these chips it's not too big of an issue. Many sets used for cash games around here where chips far more easily obtained.

Aka boat chips but I guess these are just more well known outside of nerdy chippers :D
