Movie "Casino" (1995) - Poker Chip Props - History? (1 Viewer)

I searched on this but couldn't find much, probably because "casino" is too generic a term for the forum. Anyway... does anyone know who made the prop chips for the De Niro movie Casino?

I found some links, but no specifics on who made them. Are these just cheap slugged chips? You can see the injection mold mark in some of the photos. :/

If I recall correctly the actual Casino in the movie used the plastic hot stamped "Three Spot" chips. Kinda old school and similar to dice chips but not slugged. I can see Sharon Stone throwing them in the air in my mind's eye.

They go by different names.."soprano" chips...and came from the gamblers general store in vegas back when they made plastic chips...I think that because they are straight injection molded chips there are plenty of rip offs (yes china copies of a 20 cent chip)

These have been showing up on Craigslist for at least the past 2 years or so: http://baltimore.craigslist.org/clt/5659904803.html

I think they were listed originally for $900 then dropped to $895 after a year or so There can't possibly be people out there paying $3 a chip for these, right?

The metal ones are totally fake and knockoffs. The plastic injection molded chips with the hotstamps are the real props.
