My challenge coins arrived! So happy for the way they turned out. These are 44mm and have a bit of weight to them. They are serialized. They have depth to them, meaning there are ridges.

Challenge coins are something that kind of lost their way recently. Nowadays, you just need to show up to get one, or be a part of a group. When I was in the military, you had to earn them...the hard way. I earned a few of them along the way in my career, but the most important one I earned was and is my Airborne Coin.

So for my poker league, I made it difficult to earn, but not impossible.

In order to earn one, you must have completed one of the following;

1. Be an original player from the condo (that started in 2007), and have 1500 career points.
2. Be a Seasonal Champion and have 750 career points.
3. Be a Main Event Champion and have 750 career points.
4. Be a Seasonal Champion and Main Event Champion and have 500 career points.
5. Earned 3000 career points.
6. Have played 44 career games.

How do you do this? Who designed? Art specifications? How much does it cost? Minimum order amount?

I’d like to order some of these for WCB.

I had been looking for a way to get these made for a long time. There are companies in the States that will make them, but you need to pay upwards of $20 per coin, and have a min. order of like 200.

I was recently contacted by a company that I had dealt with before. They look like they are from California, but the manufacturing is from China.

There are no limits to art work. I designed the Hitmen logo with help years ago. The min. order was 25, but I got a helluva deal on 50.

Also, I failed to mention, from the time to send the files, to approve the artwork, to accept the mock up, to approve the actual coin, to delivery was less than 1 month.

I love the fact that these are exclusive and your players have to "earn" them.
As far as your requirements go;
you said 1500 career points, if someone had 1500 points would they be average, top 10%?
you said 44 games played, also where does that put them in the overall picture with all your players?
etc

Looking good! I'm just sad that I'm nowhere near any of those qualifications yet despite being there for several years. I gotta start making it to more of your games (and playing better). Looking at my stats I've won once and like 4 years ago.

This is absolutely awesome. I had something in the same vein made up for my fantasy football league by Sal at OWPS. Delivered a week before his untimely passing.

I made a mock gold coin printed on a 43 ceramic, as the minimums and prices you mention above were too expensive for me as a giveaway.

Do you mind sharing what their normal cost would be for 50 coins?
