My First Tina Set! (Tina Arias) (9 Viewers)

Hello everyone! I'm excited to share with you guys my first ever ceramic Tina set! I would like to preface this post however with a *trigger warning* as these are Tina RHC molds, they aren't authentic RHC's and neither the seller or I will claim them as such. I know that this mold is taboo on PCF as I've seen a couple threads receive minor sometimes major backlash from the community. I am genuinely excited to share these with you guys because they are my first nice set and I would really appreciate if we could refrain from the political side of these chips and just enjoy the beauty of them. I'm a young college student and being able to get these at $0.30 a chip was an absolute no brainer and although I'd love to get authentic RHC and THC chips in the future, this is what works best for me at the moment and will be gateway into the chipping world!

THAT BEING SAID! Here are the chips, they are Tina Ceramic Aria chips with the RHC mold, not hybrid. I got a total of 900 chips for $270 + $75 shipping equating to 345/900 = $0.39< a chip. I was also able to get Justin Racks from @liftapint and after researching on the forum for a budget case, landed on the Apache 3800 as it was half the price of the versa cases. in total this whole set (900 chips, shipping, 10 racks, and case) cost me $415 which was perfect for my budget.

I play 25c50c and occasionally play $1$2. My group personally likes to have more fracs in front of us because it feels more baller with more chips lol however it does decrease your bank by a decent amount and 100 fracs are the standard here on PCF if I'm not mistaken.

Everyone has there preference, but there is no way I'd be able to get by with one rack of fracs. Me and my players would be making change all night instead of focusing on playing. Get what works for you, there's no right or wrong. Always loved the Aria style chips, enjoy your new set.

Exactly! One of the home games I play in they don't distribute all the fracs and save some for rebuys and it leaves people with coloring down constantly!

Assuming a $100 buy-in to start, I’m Team 2 racks of fracs so everyone gets a barrel to start. $5 in fracs, $30 in $1s, and $65 in $5s.

They're molded into the chip, it's not a smooth surface like no molds.

With the 25c50c game setups I don't bring the $25's with me because the bank is big enough as is. The $25s come out during my $1$2 games and I remove the quarters from the case, they are never in there at the same time.

I apologize if you already answered this but did you work directly with “Tina” to get these chips via inquiry on Alibaba? Or was this from a group buy? I’m considering pulling the trigger but haven’t seen any group buys for Arias apparently due to copyright(?)

I bought them from the forum, I didn't work directly with Tina at all. I think they were available in group buys a while back in the cards mold but definitely not the RHC mold. I would pull the trigger on a set of Tina's for sure, whether it be Aria's or not, I've enjoyed them a lot since getting them.

Yeah for new chips we need to buy from Tina directly, how many chips are you looking for? I’m in touch with Tina and might do a group buy before the deminimus tariff exemption ends next month
