3 of a Kind
Just "finished" my Terrible's set today, and just wanted to share a bit from the journey.
I started checking out paulson home market chips about 8 years ago getting sample sets of the home market lines, but ended up getting some ceramic chips I got a good deal on but was never happy with. My home game died after I moved abroad for a while and I didn't start hosting a few games again until about three years ago. Shortly after I started searching the internet for poker chips again and ended up picking up a rack of Terrible's St Jo secondary $25's and a few others from goodknightmike on eBay after deciding I wanted casino Paulsons. Searching for Terrible's online made me find chiptalk and pcf, and I remember placing a wtb ad for Terrible's wanting to make a set of 400-500 chips.. I ended up buying more than 2k Terrible's the two and a half years that followed, but has sold off a few and only kept the Lagrange secondaries.
Since everything has been baught second hand it has taken some time to complete the set as some denominations are hard to find, but thankfully I have had a bit of luck:
I have only seen one rack of $1's for sale since I started collecting. I was an eBay rookie and was sniped. Completely bummed out. Suddenly I got a message from the seller whitout contacting him offering me to buy a rack for the price of my losing bid.
Same as with the $1's I have only seen one rack of fracs for sale and that was a few months ago. This time i was using a sniping tool for the first time and got the rack for exactly my max bid of $330. Pretty sick.
The rack of $100's has taken a long time to complete, but finally got the missing two barrels in the mail today after having nightmares about the package beeing lost in transit the last nights.
I want to thank everyone that has sold me chips and been willing to ship abroad; @Lars , @ChaosRock , @Don Clay , @Tommy , @slisk250 , @Gear , @Stadium.Mikeadium and others. Thanks a lot for helping me out with the chips I needed!

Thanks for looking.
