Just visited the new casino to check out the chip design. Here are the ones I could get an easy pic. The spots on the $5 are an interesting pattern.

Interesting that they have a special mold for the hundreds.

So faux inlays mimic (not match) the chip base on all chips $1-$100 except the snapper... those mimic the spot color.

Casinos (or GPI) need to hire a PCFer as a chip consultant. These are so meh.

I’m sure it has nothing to do with the decor…the ambiance reminds me of a hospital.
Yeah, except for the top floor it is pretty plain; but it is a temporary casino site until this is built in 3 years…

I like the $5, unique and nice spot.

$1, snapper are quite meh, $25 are okay.

Wished I can easily harvest a set of 25, simple enough and it’s Hotstamped

Has the $100 mold been used before at another casino? The sausage shaped indent with the value reminds me of Atlantic City chips.
Yes, but I do not recall where. GPI calls it (and other similar chips with a debossed denomination) their 'Value' mold.

Debossed value markings were once a New Jersey Gaming Commission requirement, along with the casino name.

I’ve seen that (or the New Jersey ones; not sure if they’re different) marketed by as the denomination mold. But I don’t remember ever seeing a casino using one mold for most of their chips but then a denomination mold for the higher denoms.

Just heard that it opened. What are the limits on the table games? Would love it if they have $10 craps.

Also, what tables have quarters? The Temporary is down to just a single Bacarat table most nights that has quarters, which is making way more of a hassle to harvest from. Be nice if Bally's has some Pai Gow tables or anything else with quarters... I don't love them, but wouldn't mind grabbing a rack or two.

I didn’t see Pai Gow when I was there. The baccarat table was $50 on a Saturday morning.
