I've only seen dealers stack chips for players when the pot is split so not sure what your talking about.

Airball looses all is money. Pushes his stack (10 barrels) to the dealer while 2 barrels collapse. The dealer then not even tries to hand over the remaining intact barrels to Rampage. He just pushes Airball stack to Rampage with his both hands making all remeining barrels collapse. Leaving Rampage with something like 200 chips to pick up.

To each their own. Personally, they give off the same vibe as cheap plastic chips like the Monte Carlos, etc. Matsui is unquestionably better quality, but that's about all they have going for them imo.

I seem the $50 used on the show a couple of time previously, the casino always have them just that it not a very useful denomination to use.

They definitely not make new recently.
