Sitting Out
Hi everyone!
I've been lurking on the site for quite some time as I've been thinking and debating with myself about whether to pull the trigger on a custom set of chips or not. You all have created some very inspiring designs!
My avatar photo is of two sets of chips from my (very, very, very small) collection. The former Monte Carlo poker room has a nice clean look to their $1 chips, and you could always find a small limit holdem table there. The Orleans $1 is perhaps the most boring chip I've ever seen, but they spread $4-8 Omaha and mixed games, and over the years I've come to know many of the regulars and staff, so it's my favorite place to play in Vegas.
I have the various sample sets from CPC, and my first order will be a cash set that can accommodate the 3 different poker games that I play in: A .25-.75 spread-limit dealers-choice mix game that is mostly stud oriented, a .25-.50 fixed-limit mix game, and a $1-2 No Limit Holdem game.
I look forward to more discussions as I get further down the road of design and ordering, and I hope to learn more from all of you!
