My question:
Who from this site helped design these?
This ain't no typical casino or in house design job!

Tell Yi he needs to get us those pics of the 3rd set already!I wish I could take credit but wasn't me. I do have even more good news, Yi (Tourney Director) confirms there are actually THREE new chip sets!

And then let him know we need to put in a VIP order for about 750,000 more chipsTell Yi he needs to get us those pics of the 3rd set already!
My only issue with 8v is from the side it's hard to tell which is the primary color. I feel like I'm looking at Pink, Green, Blue chips and not Black, Purple, Yellow. It's really messing with my brain.I believe they're using these chips for a satellite today into the WSOP Circuit

They all look distinct for sure. No issues there. Just in general viewing 8v from the side makes it hard to know what the base color is it you didn't already know. It's not really a problem, just a minor personal gripe. I like the rolling edge to make the base color obvious. This is why designing or harvesting the correct 8V chips is important. If you use two spot colors and they are all over the spectrum, the chip can't decide what color it is (stack view). They look like a stack of Skittles then. The SB and ES fracs pull off two spot colors well...some others do not. Many fracs are pink. My most coveted fracs are the players club 8V. It is a purple chip but there is much more pink than base color on the rolling edge. This phenomenon is less pronounced on the big chips...more rolling edge real estate but same amount of spot color. The image below clearly shows what I'm talking about with 39mm chips. Without the pink spots the chip it isn't a great match for a Vegas colored set. I think the Hard Rock did a stellar job here and they look great in stacks.

I have never seen those. Nice find. If I see any I will let you know.I bought 150 of them from a old school member 3 years ago. Since them I have scoured to net and had a few people search at the chip convention. Now have 166. If I can keep it at this pace I should have the rack filled in a decade. Very hard to find...not for sale at any price really.
Those are the lower denoms of the high denom club inlay set pictured in the OP -- black w/pink T100, purple w/green T500, and yellow w/blue T1000 (orange T5000 rounds out the rhc choices).I believe they're using these chips for a satellite today into the WSOP Circuit
