Hi folks,

You can call me SunRA. I'm a big fan of jazz records, chess, and watching baseball. Checking in to say hello.

I've got a set of about 300 dice chips and I've been looking to get some real chips someday -- if I can ever decide on a set!

Thinking about jumping straight into a Paulson set of 300 or 500 cash game chips, or maybe CPC.

Hello welcome to the forum!!! Have you had a chance to do any research as far as if you're looking for casino or house mold paulsons or fantasy chips? CPCs are cool too, lots of options there as well!!!

Welcome! Many years ago while visiting I got to see a Riverdogs game, it was a very cool experience.

The games are fun! I go to about one game per season but really should go more often.

Welcome from Texas! Just buy multiple sets and you’ll never have to decide on one! ;)
THAT is what I'm afraid of haha

I think casino makes a lot sense, but many available seem so worn out from all the use. House molds would be good, but are pricey!

Unfortunately yes the casino used chips are often very worn which makes them more affordable and the others are a bit pricey but I've often found they are worth it!!! I have a set of casio used and I'm building a set that still from a casino but mostly fantastic condition with the edges and I've found I prefer the mintier chips... my poor wallet!! Haha anyway best of luck in your search!!

Welcome!

Paulson ftw!

Yep! I figure it may save some cash later on, plus the nicer chips seem to be much better when it comes to resale value.

For some casino and fantasy chips, this may be true. For customized chips, not so much. You could also check out the Group Buy section to see if there are any current designs that strike your fancy - certainly a good way to get in on well-made and well-designed chips at a reasonable price.
