Hi everyone! New member here from Minneapolis. I decided I better sign up after finding myself revisiting these forums over and over again during the last year or so. This has been a great resource that I’ve utilized for building my playing card collection (for fun and for card tricks), and now the itch to return to the days of hosting the occasional laid back, low stakes, dealer’s choice home games has kicked in as well (I still love 7 card stud, in-between, and a variation of auction, but I’ll take Texas hold ‘em in a pinch).

I’m excited to learn more and more about what chip (and card) setups sound appealing or catch my eye, and I am appreciative of all the contributions of this community in helping navigate. Thanks everyone!

Thanks, brother. I’ve definitely run across many of your posts in my days of lurking here. Thanks for your insight and welcoming vibes. I’m quite keen on your allusions to Frogtown as well. I grew up in Midway but spent a great chunk of my formative years there (Edmund & Grotto, roughly… and I do mean roughly, haha), so it’s nice to know there’s that solidarity.
