My name is Nate nice to meet you all. I live in the midwest. Used to work in a couple casinos in early 2000's when I started playing poker alot and collecting chips from different casinos I visited. 2013 Spent $1.15 per chip for my WTHC 1070 chip set as they were far and away my favorite design. Wish I would have bought what i wanted to at the time and added 2 racks each of 500/1000/ 5000's. I played with them for roughly 30 home games and put them away for the last 7 years. Surprised to see how popular they are now and glad that I kept them in really good condition. I have a couple other sets that work really well in my home poker league now but that's all I got. Happy to chat and see some of your collections or see what if any chips are out there to add to my set. Looks like it's gonna cost me big time if there are

I think WTHC were many members here "first love" they are still amazing chips, but yes they have skyrocketed in price much like everything else. A gateway drug as it where, you would think a couple sets would be plenty but @FordPickup92 and I have only been members for 3 years here and have already tuned the corner on 40 playable sets of chips! This hobby can be a sickness... even a disease. Some can buy a set or two of chips and be content... while for many of us there is simply no scratch for that itch!!

It's ok if your still have the itch... many of us here have not found a remedy! Chippers Annyonous as it were...

Enjoy your journey, it is fun thinking you are top dog when you have a nice set of chips... but then you find this place and say OMG... I had no clue! So many different options and directions to go even within our little hobby.

I know they were certainly mine.. I've wanted your exact set of THC chips since I first started playing home games back in 2004 or 2005. I had read that they were the best and I at least thought they were the best looking. Might as well call me Grape 3000 cause I'm super jelly my friend..
