While researching color palette info for Paulson Starbursts, I found this site. I started reading posts 3 hours ago and can't put it down. Nobody I play with cares for in-depth chip knowledge, but it's always fascinated me. I just won 1200 Starbursts in a tourney and know nothing about their origin. I have 2 sets of Paulson's so I knew they were "something". Have some nice collections (Favorite are Chipco's from when they used to hold the World Poker Open at Binions and Gold Strike in Tunica. Even have some $500 Buy In chips from there. Anyway....Great to be here and hope to meet some folks soon. Love to hear chip stories.

Welcome! I know how you feel, I can get on a kick and the next thing I know I've burned an hour reading old threads! It's addictive, welcome to the madness!

Welcome to the site, and the deep deep rabbit hole. Watch the first step, it's a doozie

Hey welcome. We love pron here so feel free to post pics of your sets anytime.

Welcome! Post some pictures of those starbursts! :)

I will post pics tomorrow....about 800 of them have never been out of the box. If they had serial numbers, they would still be in numerical order!! Could not believe it. The other 400, been cleaning for 8 hours, but they look great. 1 more box to go. Speaking of boxes, it's impossible to find them. Spinetti's wants a fortune to ship a dozen.

Welcome to the site! I advise reading every...single...thread. You never know where something incredibly useful (like a sonic chip cleaning video) will be buried.

Never start my day without a cup of coffee and PCF.
:coffee:

...says the guy that just bought individually custom engraved brass bounties for a PCF meet up...
That was actually one of the cheaper one offs I've done. I bought replica bullets fairly cheaply. I priced engraving at a few places and got one guy who was willing to do it a lot cheaper than others just because he thought the idea was really cool and wanted me to let him use a picture of the work in his marketing.

What colors are the damn starburst!!! Sorry if I sound cranky but those minty ones are awaiting your camera.

I'll post pics after work....but I can tell you the colors and Qty's now.

Qty 300 Charcoal - Mint Condition
Qty 100 Purple - Mint Condition
Qty 60 Lavender - Mint Condition
Qty 60 Royal Red - Mint Condition
Qty 40 Red - Mint Condition
Qty 40 Gold - Mint Condition

Qty 300 White - Very Good Condition - no edge wear, tight stacks (just can't call them mint because I had to clean them to make them look minty)

Qty 100 Day Blue or Dolphin Blue (hard to tell) - Good condition - used but still cleand and pretty sharp. About 10 of them show some edge wear.

And then we have a few that I can't say I'd even want to performa a riffle with.

Qty 60 White - Used condition, fine to play with, no major wear, but most definitely seen plenty of action
Qty 90 Black - Used conditon with major wear on edges - not pretty at all, but still playable.

Here are the "Minty" Starbursts.....I do have the others mentionied above, but they weren't as worthy of pictures. Each stack pictures is as pristine and tightly stacked as the close ups of the purples below.

No joke. Someone has some nice tournament prizes. I can't help but feel most of the people playing might not appreciate the prize fully.

Nice win! The only bad thing is you used your "one time". :)
