Newbie: Poker chips, card, case and possibly set.. (1 Viewer)

Hi, I have huge interest in getting some high quality poker chips at least mid range quality chips for comparison I currently have that plastic/b.s. made in china set that probably costs 20€...
I have seen that 13.5g clays are preferred and since I am in Europe i would prefer without dollar denomination.. so I could use it for tournaments as well. I stumbled upon https://pokershop.de/Pokerchip-Monte-Carlo-1
but I don't know if it is good QC because I saw the same ones (possibly fake) on amazon with dollar denomination with ugly QC...

For cards I will probably go with 2x Copag regular index size and for case I would take any recommendations. Even though I would like to get this https://pokershop.de/Chipkoffer-Alu-Case-Black-500-PRO but I am scared if it is worth it or Chinese fake item that will break in few weeks...

Yeah, this is nerdy answer applicable to every thing.

While I wouldn't personally buy anything you mentioned I believe pokershop.de is a reputable store so anything from there shouldn't be "fake".

You should search through the threads and there are several relating to sourcing chips in Europe. I have no experience with this but many do.

I am sure some of our European members could provide some informed feedback given some time to read your post.

What’s the rush? There is no point replacing cheap crap chips with (relatively) expensive crap chips. Anything above 11-12 grams is too heavy btw.

Best bang for your buck would probably be the web/greek mold groupbuys from @justincarothers

Awesome chips for their price point. Tons of pre-existing label designs or you can commision one of the many excellent designers on this site to make you custom ones. Requires some patience but waaaay better chips than the Monte carlos.
