While many of us here may not like to admit it, there is just something special about NexGen chips. Yes, they aren't Paulsons, CPCs, or even Tinas, but for the price they offer a unique "softness" and weight that is hard to beat. For me, they were the first chipset I bought and the memory of getting them in the mail and using them for my first home game will always have a special place in my heart.

Unfortunately, finding additional chips in today's market is getting more and more difficult. They have disappeared from retailer websites years ago and now can only be found through the secondary markets (and even then, getting the desired color and quantity is nearly impossible) So, as a result, I thought it would be a good idea to have a centralized place for us NexGen fans to meet, collect, discuss, and post our NexGen related needs. Let's see what ya got!

I'll start:

I currently have a large set of the NexGen Las Vegas chips (I forget what variation of 8XXX these are), but would like to add on a few more non-white to round out the set. My eventual plan is to do a cheap relabel project with them. If anyone has some additional red, blue, yellow, black, or greens that they would be willing to part with, I'd love the chance to work out a deal!

Current set:

White: 820
Yellow: 280
Red: 180
Blue: 120
Black: 19 (although these are different from the rest and don't have the edge diamonds).

I had a NEXGEN T100 tournament chip set that I labeled, and my players loved them. They were great chips for the money at the time, and seemed like a huge upgrade over dice chips.

Woah, that's the stuff! Did you do the labels yourself?
Yep, ordered from a web site that printed them. Nowhere near Gear quality, but they did the trick.

At one time, this set also had over 1000 white chips.

I love this! NexGens are great! Sometimes I see some Lucky Bees, and I'm tempted to put together a semi-custom set. Hope to see a ton of great sets.
