I think solid chips are better suited to hot stamps. No hard and fast rules - I love the spotted $5s and $25s in my crystal palace set (just like I love the solid inlaid $1s in my foxwoods set) - but my point is, solid hot stamps are so pure, no need to apologize for them!Many of ours are old school solids but love them!
