Not seeing the errors....

Not errors in the way most of the chips in this thread are. The error is that these blanks were missed by QC and allowed to leave the Paulson factory. The gray chip I own and has a hot stamp starburst on the reverse.

Yes, that is the more common usage. But for a bit more money (L5 instead of L3) the spots can be aligned across from each other. It’s invoiced as 2DD14 spot pattern.

Is the green TRK Kings Crown $25 shown below with 5 spots an error chip?? All pics I’ve seen and also those on chip guide all show 4 spots. A 5 spot chip is a bit odd. Just noticed this.

You can't make a spot pattern by error. So they either had a very rarely used punch or someone cut them out by hand.
I've seen them with 3 spots also, including one legit casino issue...........

Neither are errors, IMHO. The second chip (las vegas) has a label that will peel off. I have ~2000 more if you want more. Not sure of the first label, but the 5 side has a different font and background gradient. I suspect it is a label too. The is denomination 100 from the Tournament set.
