Just found this thread... big thanks for putting this together!
I notice the term "artist" being thrown around pretty liberally here... ;)
Actually, if I am being honest, I prefer @BonScot 's pop art to most of what Warhol put out.
The fact that it speaks to me more should be a red flag. (I'll not divulge if I mean that literally or figuratively).

I'll have to figure out totals of each denom but in for at least 500 chips, so we are at $.26 per (or less) :tup:

Are there pics of samples or a set from the manufacturer anywhere? (apologies if I missed it)

No samples of these particular designs just yet. There will be pictures of samples prior to the final production so that people can see what the final chips will look like before we proceed.

Once we top 5k I will see if the manufacturer will do a test run so we can maybe get it early. I will keep everyone posted.

I have handled the STFU chips and was very surprised on quality. It actually surprised me, went beyond my expectations.

The shipping for samples would be absurd. We have to just trust they will be as good or better than previous orders. Also these are no under cover NGBs with clay goodness. So with that said they are under 30¢ for donkalicious fun chips. I ordered a micro stakes "teaching poker" set. My point is don't expect perfect clay chips and I guarantee you will be happy.

If these are coming from where I think they are, the quality is decent for the price. But they aren't amazing.

Would anything you pay 28 cents a chip for ever come out "amazing"?

The idea of this was to make them available to everyone. Would people pay $1 a chip for these from a better manufacturer? Maybe. Would we get 5k+? Probably not.
