Glad to hear this. He seemed to always be on loan. I am hoping the stability will help him. Looking forward to seeing him playing in the Champions League.

I am waiting to see if Berhalter gives him a runout against Grenada and/or El Salvador. He has a chance to make the USMNT team in Qatar.

He’s been absolutely solid for us. Very calm under pressure and good at playing the ball out from the back. Really happy that he’s signed.

I think that he would fit Berhalter's system well, then. I haven't had a chance to see him play before.

With Berhalter never calling up Brooks any more (Why? No one has a clue.), Carter-Vickers might be able to sneak into the other CB spot next to Zimmerman, who I think Berhalter has locked in as a starter for Qatar.

I don’t know much about the other players he’s competing with for a place. All I can say is that he’s dependable. Doesn’t flap and give the ball away. Nothing fancy from him (which you want from a defender). He scored a few goals as well.
 
Anyone else think that woman’s football should be played with smaller goals?

It’s like subbuteo. The goalies are tiny compared to the goals.

Instead of 24’ by 8’ it should be 24’ by 7’.

Possibly. The goalkeepers really suck. I have lost count on how many horribly unsuccesful attempts have been made at running out and grabing the ball or getting it cleared. If a male goalkeeper goes for a high ball coming into the penalty area, you better believe he’s getting that ball, even if a couple of strikers has to die in the process. Don’t see that level of determination in the women’s games.
 
Who's doing Fantasy Premier League this year?

Do I go with Son and Kane against Southampton in Gameweek 1, and then switch Kane for Haaland in Gameweek 2 when Man City play Bournemouth — or do I start with the lineup featuring both Haaland and Kane?
