I agree; something is VERY WRONG. @Dawg, you sure you're not doing add-ons some how? I have a tournament weekly with 2 rebuys, and I'm not able to rebuy more than once at a time.

Threshold is set to 20K, just like the original starting stack. I had enough money in my cash balance to cover a "double rebuy," but I don't want someone to be able to double their chips while some may still be at or below their starting stack.
No add-ons in the setting. It's very strange.

I suspect that most people will feel like there are coolers regardless which platform they’re on, simply due to the fact that there are A LOT more hands being played than in real life. The computer is dealing at set pace pre and post flop following all action, no side discussions taking away time from the hand, no main pot side pot calculations, etc. Tons more hands being played therefore the occurrence or chance of running into a cooler increases dramatically.
I don't know if everyone had been doing this and I am late to the game, but I switched P* to display BB instead of chips.
I found this made a huge improvement to my game and made it much easier to determine where everyone stood in relationship to the blinds.

When you have the rebuy threshold set to 20k, that means any time you have 20k or less chips, you can rebuy for a full stack (another 20k in this case). You would just click the Menu and Add More Chips... if you wanted this nom-busy rebuy. Change the threshold to 0 if you only want people to be able to rebuy when they bust.

Looking at the PM Support Forum, it appears that whenever you are eligible to rebuy (if you have less than or equal to the threshold amount), then you can rebuy to an amount greater than the threshold amount (if the starting stack and the threshold are both 10,000 and you have 10,000 chips, you can rebuy to a total of 20,000 chips) If you bust out and the threshold is the same or greater than starting stack, AND if the allowable number of rebuys is >1, then the Double Rebuy button appears. If you want to prevent the Double Rebuy button from showing up, then limit the # of rebuys to 1 OR reduce the threshold below the starting stack.
From Version 3.06 onward:
Double rebuy option added to rebuy tournaments. In rebuy tournaments, you can rebuy when your chips are at or below the starting chip level. Previously when a player lost all of their chips, they were presented with "Leave" and "Rebuy" buttons. Since that brought them back to their starting level, they could immediately perform another rebuy using the table menu. Now they are presented with "Leave", "Rebuy", and "Double Rebuy" buttons, which eliminates that second step if they choose.

Huge help!! Thank you! For now we're limiting rebuys to 1 and promoting the cash game, but now I'll know what to do if we have a multi rebuy tournament.

1) How are accounts managed in poker mavens? Does the administrator setup the balances or do the players just keep adding free chips?
2) In the Pro version, is the player hand log recorded somewhere on the server or is it only a client thing where a user has to explicitly download it?
3) If I host a tournament, do the players buy a ticket and that comes off their player's account and then have the payout returned to the players account?

1) Administrator adds chips to the player account upon receipt of real money. Balance is available to player to join tournaments or cash games at his/her discretion. Administrator removes chips from player account when player asks admin to cash out (or after every game, depending on admin preference),
2) All versions have a hand history log, event log and tournment results log recorder on the server. Players must request admin to send any history (easiest if they specify date, game, table and hand #)
3)You can specify whether a tournament has a cash entry cost or a ticket entry requirement, or either/or. Tickets are usually awarded as prizes, or to restrict entry to specific players (you can also restrict entry via table passwords).

The bear seems odd in that spot. Maybe place the bear on the left side of logo, or even try 2 bears, one on either side of the logo, both bears facing toward center.
Fonts are personal taste, but I would choose something a bit different, and with a subtle color change.

Poker Stars will set up a private tournament. You just send the "host" the money. We only play against people we know and played with live before the Covid-19. That is the safest way to do it.

The fact that we don't have a sort of general PCF Maven's site is kind of amazing. We are all spread across a few different users' sites. Probably best for security reasons. But seems a little odd given the interest level.

I have been playing mainly on Global Poker, but noticed there are better games on ACR (America's Card Room). Has anyone had a good experience with ACR with payouts or playing in general?

ACR is pretty much a trash heap in terms of management and software issues. Though I haven't kept up with all of it in a while, so maybe things have changed?
The only site I've ever felt comfortable playing on in the US currently is Ignition/Bovada. And currently I don't play on it anymore.
ACR is a bot paradise.
OK, so I've been really ghetto about the table graphics on my Poker Maven's site. Clobbering together free-for-use images of poker tables and tweaking them the best I can in Gimp. After seeing @DoubleEagle's tables, I finally decided to just have a nice graphic made for me. Niestudio was great to work with. Fast communication, open to make subtle changes after deploying the table and seeing how things lined up.

It looks like Pokerstars has made some more updates. I did notice that you can set the length of late entry, not sure of any other changes.
One of my players sent me this screenshot. Note the cards in the hand on left. Clubs are both green and black. Anyone else ever see this with the Maven's software? I emailed the developer but haven't heard back yet.
Looks like a similar problem was reported in April. Best thing is to email Kent a screenshot and see if they can reproduce it and fix it in the next patch release.
Will Mavens add a Mac server version eventually? (Or am I not understanding how it works?)

Edit: I should be more specific. There's very little interest in MacOS versions since there's no support for macos-in-the-could. The target audience of this software is not people running it on their home computer in the basement. It's servers in the cloud (AWS/azure).
PM is written in Delphi, which can target other OS's. But it's not seamless and opens up the author to double the support, double the testing, double the possibility for problems (especially with TLS and websockets and threading under MacOS).
So again, no, I highly doubt it @Taghkanic
