Just fine to me. I like both clay and injection molded chips about the same. Maybe injection molded a little more. Each come with their own characteristics. Some are positive, and some are not. Definitely not as slippery as some other plastics. They have a nice weight too @ 10.95g.

What's funny is I laid these out in no particular order but now that I look at it, it is close to the order that I like them. Far right being my most favorite. Maybe GEMACO and BJ S2 can be swapped. They are close.

Higher density compounds, assuming diameter and thickness are consistent with other chips.

It sailed for a short time. Open 2010 and closed in 2011. Many chips purchased.
Some of the colors that GEMACO made are amazing. The green on the $500 requires sun glasses to look at.

They have an insert. It is a non-brass one so it's magnetic. Non-brass inserts tend to be a tiny bit lighter too if they are the same size.

Haha own the same scale and great minds think alike... I was going to ask if they were magnetic... very cool!! So you shared the chips but not the total chip count... did you get a monster set of these beauties?

I was comparing them to the Black Diamond GEMACOS chips that I bought a while back. Totally different type of chip. Black Diamonds had razor sharp edges, but when compared to these Opus chips, the Black Diamond chips seem like they were unfinished.

I didn't notice any stacking issues with either.

Check out the edges of the BDs. Sharp but looks like they could be cleaned up a bit. Maybe these were a cheaper line for GEMACO.

Opus has rounded edges and a nice clean finish.

interesting order, I haven't had the opportunity to handle all of them, but CIC would be hard to beat for myself
