Nearing the end of Day #2 - we have 45 participants and 181 total buttons! Yee-Haa!Based on the large number of orders that came in the first 24 hours, and the slow trickle since then, I don't see any reason to drag this out. How does end of day next Monday, Jan 18 for order cutoff and end of day Wednesday Jan 20 for payment cut off sound? Then I will place the order with BR Pro Poker on Thursday Jan 21.
Looking for input since this is my first GB to organize. If that seems reasonable, I will update the OP.
When I run group buys, I make the buyers send me the first email. The delay between replies is 15-20 seconds, where the delay between new messages is 120.All address PMs sent. Should have taken an hour. Actually took over two hours.
Let me know if you didn't get one and I'll hit you up tomorrow.
Yeah it’s annoying as hell. Just need to wait it out. I assume it’s some sort of anti-spam feature.Anybody know why I have to wait 2 minutes in between sending PMs? I have 46 PMs to send tonight!!! Any Mods watching this?
I suspect there is an over-ride that could be set up or granted to users who have the need to send out a lot of PMs. I've been in buys where @Tommy PM'd large numbers of people. I highly doubt he has this restriction on his account. I've also noticed other users who don't have the "12 people max in a private conversation" restriction. So I'm sure exceptions can be made. I just don't know what the procedure would be to get this exception. I can't see what the downside would be to lift this restriction from the accounts of trusted members of the community who are giving their time to run group buys.Yeah it’s annoying as hell.
