This is a Wanted add meaning I am looking for Paulson Grand Cardroom gold 25s to complete my set. Do you have some to sell?

Oh, is that what this is? I thought maybe you'd post a pic, just to clarify. My mistake. Cheers!

I am newer to the site but believe $2.50 - $2.75 (good condition) is premium for these. If I am wrong please let me know! Looking for 120 Gold Foil 25s.

Tell us your 'premium' offer and someone may like it enough to sell you some.

I think the bigger issue is that most likely someone would need to break-up their existing set to sell you just the T25s. That's going to be a non-starter for a lot of sellers, unfortunately. An option might be to substitute in a different green Paulson T25 (i.e. the Fun Nite 25) while you're search continues.

Good luck with your search. Most of us know the feeling of missing the one rack that will make our set playable.

That is what I am afraid of. That is why I am trying to offer premium pricing to find these. I am also willing to purchase an entire set if anyone wants to sell. Thanks for the advice on the Fun Nites and any additional tips or recommendations on how to find these chips is always welcome.

Given the market prices for other Paulson non-casino chips produced on less-desirable molds in much larger quantities (Classics, Casino de Isthmus, Pharaoh's Club, National Poker Series, etc.), I think your estimated value is extremely low. The Paulson Grand Cardroom solids were a very limited run, and sold for close to your 'premium' prices long ~before~ the market exploded -- and when the more common chips were selling for only $1 to $1.25. This would indicate that they are now "worth" close to $4 each or even more, and that's IF you can find any for sale at all. There is currently a BCC spotted GCR set being sold at auction, and the current high bid on those is $2.16.

The Paulson GCR solids have always commanded higher prices than any other chip (regardless if inlay or hot-stamped) produced on the card pips (suits) mold, including the Pharaoh's Club NCV, Paulson World THC, Private Cardroom, and Avalon Club chips.

I'd put premium prices need to pry chips out of an existing set at between $5 and $6 each, and you may not get any takers even at that level.

My $2.50-$2.75 premium valuation was based on the fact in late January Tommy posted a link to a set of Paulson GCRs on eBay that were 700 chips for $1400 and I know for a fact other near mint Paulson GCRs have been selling for $1.60 a chip.

With that being said, I do believe it would be extremely hard to get someone to sell a portion of their set . Perhaps my only shot is someone selling a monster set by the rack or to find someone with more 25s than they need.

I would be open to negotiate a price higher than $2.75. Also open to buying a full set or trade World Tophat & Canes.

What about the originals that started it all, what are they worth?

Nice! Those are sweet. I have no idea what a set like this is worth but I can guarantee you they will not be cheap....so these inspired the GCRs huh?

Yes. The seller acquired them after Hurricane Katrina. The gaming commission tried to destroy all the chips but they missed the ones that were locked up in table trays. The cash set is a beauty...
