I agree, especially the yellows. They all seem pretty drab and dull in person. The colors in the chip designer tool do not match reality at all. Make sure you get real color samples (and oil them before judging them!) before you do anything.
I don't mind those 1s. What do the primary 1s look like? Google failed. Not sure if someone mentioned these.
If you're looking for a "first" cash set <wink>, at an affordable price, try here: https://www.pokerchipforum.com/threads/cash-set-sale.99279
See Jumers cash set.
Not everyone loved the colors on the $1 chip, but they are unique and the others bright ($5, $25).
These are from a secondary rack, so brand new Paulson chips.
That sale is over.... primary's are gone: https://www.pokerchipforum.com/threads/black-friday-sale.97257I don't mind those 1s. What do the primary 1s look like? Google failed.
Stop typing and buy the Jumers.... LOLDoes anyone have a favorite set of 5 cent, 25 cent post pics. Thx
This is the way…purchase the $2.50 chips to relabel as fracs (.25).
Nice, what to the labels and denominations look like? And did you add your fracs from the classifieds and relabel or are they all branded the same?
Just one more PSA on fracs.Nice, what to the labels and denominations look like? And did you add your fracs from the classifieds and relabel or are they all branded the same?
What a nice looking set. Looks perfect! With the HSI sale from ChipRoom, there were very few 25c and were soon selling for $1,000 per rack. No nickels we’re offered.
I got solids, milled them and used Gear labels to make my own 5c and 25c:

Stay clear of dg saturn, it’s NOT a good color irl. Dg yellow, canary or dg arc yellow are all much better yellow choices.also, check my math here if anyone knows colors and manufacturing really well let me know if these are accurate reproductions of the Paulson hat or Atlantic Club as well as the Key West 20. the colors in the design tool do not actually look exactly like the photos of production chips so I'm guessing at what looks correct. If anyone's an expert on the CPC process, colors, capabilities, etc. let me know. For example, the black 100 chip is using the black from the "weighted colors" but I'm not using the weighted "Orange" color. I'm using the Unweighted "Dayglo Tiger" orange and I'm not sure if they are compatible. Seems closer to the Paulson orange spot so looks better at least in the designer. Open to feedback if anyone is interested in this sort of thing and can't help themselves to comment . Cheers,

HSI's are my favoritesWhat a nice looking set. Looks perfect!
Feels like I don’t really prefer pink chips but every time I see the side of a barrel/stack of pink chips they are gorgeous. What’s the face look like? What brand.

You’ll have to post pics I’d love to see them.Yup! My new CPC will also have a DG Pink frac - can’t wait!
It’ll be a while. Got my order in at the tail end of the CSQ order cut-off, so it’ll likely be sometime in summer before they’re produced. You’ll have to pot pics I’d love to see them.
Yeah, they really are passion projects. Still, there’s something immensely satisfying about creating a fully custom set of chips. If one goes that route though, it should definitely be with the expectation that it’s a keeper set.Custom chips (or stock CPC) may not be the wisest decision if value retention/increase is a goal of yours.
Nice! I also experienced this with a few cards, but not for such a large increase. That said, since it's been a few years since I quit the game and haven't taken my boxes out of the attic, I might find some treasures there! Well, I hope...On Friday nights (back in the day) I did some trading while I was gaming and my boilerplate reply to anyone asking to trade is "I'm looking for cradles" That was back when they were type 2 legal so the card pictured above were trading for around $5 to $10 tops... so if I didn't need anything I just said I'll take your cradle in trade... now they are worth $1000+ give or take the given month.
Day 3 now in my slippage down the poker chip forum rabbit hole. I'm noticing that as well. I just missed out on a great set of HSI because while I was asking what HSI meant someone else scooped up the paulson set. I'm half joking but it's true... I'm still trying to figure out so called "naming conventions" and "sentence structure" and the savy are scooping up great deals.Custom chips (or stock CPC) may not be the wisest decision if value retention/increase is a goal of yours.
