I think somebody took Dave’s phone and posted from it.

We used to put ads in the free section of the buy’n’sell back in the day with our friends cars information and their phone number and something like “parting out, cheap” just to watch their cell phone blow up. Lol This feels like the same sort of thing.

The giveaway being that every single one of my pet peeves with the classifieds was represented in the OP. The only one I think he missed was saying “priced to move... blowout sale” and then asking above market prices. That really would have sealed this piece of cultural critique performance art.
