Just curious, what’s the biggest y’all hit on lottery (scratch tickets or lotto such as Powerball)? I’m curious what people actually win here if anyone buys?

Me:
From lotto: $82 from $2 ticket

From scratch tickets: $1,000 from $5 ticket (saw that the odds were 1 in 3,000)

As mentioned on other threads, getting $1,000 was pain in the ash. That made me not to buy lottery tickets anymore, rather spent at a casino. Payback % too low

1. Finish paperwork and scan both sides of winning ticket
2. Mail paperwork along with scan of government issued ID and winning ticket to state lottery
3. Wait a few months
4. You get a check along with tax paperwork
5. Deposit to the bank and now finally your money. Pain in the ash.

I've never won more than $4 from Powerball, with the exception of pools. But that's never really deterred me- I suspect most players here will agree with me that prizes below $500 are not the goal.
